The Massachusetts Society of Health-System Pharmacists' (MSHP) annual meeting promotes the professional development of pharmacists and technicians through educational sessions, identification of resources, networking and social events. This year's annual meeting theme revolves around team building and how the pharmacy team can work more effectively together to strengthen their skills, enhance efficiency, and improve patient care. Both clinical and leadership programming will be included, plus two hours of law. The annual meeting will kick off with the Honors & Awards Banquet and Poster Session, held in the evening on Monday, May 8th, and the general session will begin on Tuesday morning (May

 9th) with a keynote address presented by our team captain, ASHP CEO, Paul Abramowitz, PharmD, ScD, FASHP.


Honors & Awards Banquet: MSHP will recognize outstanding pharmacists, technicians and students based on member-driven nominations at the annual Honors and Awards Banquet scheduled the evening of May 8th. The evening will begin at 5:30 pm with a cocktail reception and a visit from Patriots' Team Mascot, Pat Patriot, who will be signing autographs and posing in photos with attendees!  Don't miss out on the "fun and games!"


Poster Session:  The poster review session will be held during the reception at the Honors & Awards Banquet Cocktail Reception from 5:30 to 7:00 pm on May 8th; the posters will also be on display at the Annual Meeting on May 9th. 


Annual Meeting Agenda and Continuing Education Information: The 2017 annual meeting general sessions will feature a full day of live, multi-track educational. programming for Pharmacists and Technicians (7 hours available, including two hours of law, one hour sterile compounding).

Early Bird Discount:  Register on or before May 1, 2017 to take advantage of early-bird pricing!  


Overnight Accommodations: The Four Points Sheraton in Norwood is offering a special group rate of $145 per night, single occupancy. Additional person fee applies for double, triple or quad occupancy. The discounted rate is also available one day prior and one day after the meeting dates, subject to availability. You must book on or before Monday, April 10, 2017 to get this discounted rate. To book your group rate overnight room, please call 781-769-7900. Please identify yourself as being with the MA Society of Health System Pharmacists to receive the group rate.Overnight self-parking and high speed internet connectivity are included in the guestroom rate. In addition, shuttle service is available within a 5 mile radius of the hotel from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm Mondays - Thursdays and Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Cancellation Policy:  All attendee cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received by April 25, 2017 will be offered a refund less a $30 cancellation fee. No refunds after April 25, 2017.
